Been to a few over the years. I couldn’t pick the best, as they were so different, but… Bruce Springsteen in Leeds 1980s Pink Floyd, the Wall tour around 80 Simon & Garfunkel, Central Park, NY. Richard Thompson, in Edinburgh. Edith Piaf, Palladium 1950s. I didn’t want to go, but my Dad had a spare ticket and she blew my mind. What a voice. Buddy Holly, East Ham Granada 1957/8 Worst I ever saw, was the Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan, in Oslo. All out of their brains and absolutely appalling. I at least I didn’t buy the tickets.

I played both of those (same band) and we had a residency at The Crypt. Proper End of Days debauchery especially The Crypt (the promoter was a retired policeman) but, my God, it was a fun night.

The first madness concert at Finsbury Park after they hadn't played live together for a number of years was a cracking day out, started with one step beyond and nearly thirty thousand people started jumping up and down!

Leroy Hudson at the jazz café couple of years back was really good. Gladys Knight ( with one pip ) few years ago at the Albert Hall was brilliant, christ that woman can sing live !

Oddly, it was a Kula Shaker gig at a university in the early 2000s. I liked them in the late 90s so went to see them. They were absolutely electric. Comfortably the best gig I’ve been to.
Stone Roses was probably the worst, mainly as Ian Brown couldn’t sing in tune

If I may just correct it, the line up did not include The Jack Bruce Band but a jam between Jack and two of the guys from Focus

Thanks for mentioning the Oval gig of '72. As a big fan of the Peter Gabriel iteration of Genesis I've been under the impression that I'd never actually seen them. Well it turns out I have. I went to the Oval that day, but mainly to see ELP and the Ash, but I have absolutely no recollection of Genesis being there. Mind you I was also a huge fan of Jack Bruce and I don't remember him being there either. Something tells me I might have been a little 'out of it'.

Run DMC / Beastie Boys - Brighton '87
The Prodigy - V Festival '97
Oasis New York '96
Manics - Brixton Academy
Depeche Mode - All over the place but Jones Beach auditorium New York was amazing!
Saw Pearl Jam in 6 different countries in 2 weeks - Trieste, Vienna, Oslo, Stockholm, Amsterdam and erm...Milton Keynes.
Amy Winehouse - Fabric, London I was backstage waiting for the toilet and this girl started chatting to me and I let her go in first as she said she had to get on stage, I walked back out and the girls I was with said "Oh my god that's Amy" so I looked on staged and said "Oh that's the girl I was talking to" I'd never heard of her, then she started singing...Oh my fucking god, I wanted to cry there and then ,never heard any thing that amazing in my life.
Probably lots more!
